Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2012: Highlights and Top Looks!!!

The leggy ladies of Victoria Secret had our eyes glued to the TV last night with their amazing-as-ever fashion show! Super "Angels" Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldrige, and our fave, Adriana Lima, strutted their stuff on the runway in a drool display of rock-your-socks-off lingerie.

The A-List: Joining the angels and eye candy was the oh-so-glam Rihanna who rocked out in lingerie as well (and looked just as fab!). Bruno Mars also took the stage and of course, what would the superbowl of fashion shows be without a little Bieber fever!

Highlights: Doutzen Kroes' body cage, Miranda Kerr's swan style feather pouf, Lily Aldridge's star-spangled wings that shot out silver sparkels. And of course there was the $2.5 million "Fantasy Bra (we'll take one of those for christmas!!) donned by Alessandra Ambrosio and featuring a 20-carat white diamond in the center!

Alexander Wang Joins Balenciaga!

JUST IN: Alexander Wang is now the creative director of Balenciaga!

“I am deeply honored to embark on this new role for a brand and house that I have such great admiration and respect for,” said Wang, who succeeds Nicolas Ghesquière after his stellar 15-year run. 

What will this new chapter for Balenciaga have in store? 
“Alexander Wang will use his creativity and his own research to reinterpret and immortalize the distinctive, modern and extremely innovative style imposed by  Cristóbal Balenciaga,” said François-Henri Pinault, chairman of PPR, which controls Balenciaga.












The first collection will be revealed during the oh-so-glam Paris Fashion Week on Feb. 26-March 3rd! We can't wait!

That's One Cute Chick! Introducing the First Ever Instagram-Exclusive Photo Shoot

Proving he's always one step (or paw) ahead, Nick Knight created the first ever Instagram high fashion photo shoot, starring model Cara Delevingne and a bunch of baby animals - kittens, chicks, bunnies, and puppies. We are obsessed with these adorable shots...and of course the jewelry isn't shabby either, thanks to Fabergé, Van Cleef and Arpels and Cartier!!!

Barney's Teams with Disney for "Electric Holiday" Windows!

Barney's is renowned for its enchanting holiday windows and this year is no exception!

The creative department store unveiled spectacular "Electric Holiday" LED tiled  windows yesterday, done in collaboration with Disney.

The windows play a short animated film featuring a window-shopping Minnie Mouse gazing longingly at a Lanvin dress. She then imagines herself in Paris Fashion Week, posing for Steven Meisel, among other fabulous adventures!!

 Also making an appearance are Sarah Jessica Parker, Carine Roitfeld, Anna Dello Russo and Lady Gaga, all in cartoon form, among the usual cast of Disney characters!!

Behind the Scenes at the 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show!!

It's the sexiest night on television and we've got a fabulous sneak peak behind the scenes!!!

The 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show will take place tomorrow at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York and even in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, it's sure to be the most magical one yet!

It's all glam, glitz and of course a little pre-show drama as the sexiest runway on earth prepares to unfold!  This year, the show will be commemorating the 10th anniversary of Swarovski's  partnership with VS. The result? A magnificent array of Swarovski crystals and beads sewn onto nude-tone netting. The idea is to “make it look like the crystals and beads are floating in the air,” explained Filippelli, one of the artisans.

Aside from the endless sea of Swarovski crystals, several other pieces had some serious ooh-la-la to them. Check out the exotic Snake Charmer creation that will be used in the show’s opener!(It has real snake eyes!!!)The show will include 65 costumes and 28 pairs of Angel Wings, and performances by Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars!!!

Martin Margiela x H&M Launch Party!

Maison Martin Margiela finally presented its long awaited collection in collaboration with H&M! 

The New York launch party, was filled with fashion and art instillations over 9 floors, and of course, included celeb guests like Leigh Lezark, Kanye West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianne Moore plus other designers, fashion editors and models.

One of the standout moments was a ground floor installation choreographed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker with Margiela-dancers using their bodies on the surface of sand canvases to create designs. Very Margiela and very fab!
