High school is super-chic-and-cool in this wacky campaign video by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for Dsquared²'s Fall/Winter 2012/13. This eccentric retro film includes funky fresh styling, a slew of awesome models (including the fab
Daphne Groeneveld), and of course, the dynamic duo Dean and Dan.
It's back-to-school chic in the School of Rock-till-you-drop!
Models: Jenny Shimizu (Women), Crystal Renn (Ford), Andrej Pejic (DNA),
Lea T (New York)ny Shimizu, Hanne Gabby Odiele and Sky Ferreira
Everyone is always trying to be fashion forward but few understand what it takes to be a real trail blazer....
The finest in the fashion industry lent their time and over $400,000 of
resources to shoot the extraordinary commercial to support Gay Men's
Health Crisis and their annual fall event, Fashion Forward presented by
Bank of America.
This video campaign for GMHC's Annual Fashion Forward event not only trail blazes - ITS ON FIRE! The gender-bending video features a diversity in model casting, done with the intent to showcase fluidity of sexuality and gender identity.
Nothing like a night of underground glamour for a good cause to up the fab factor!

Butterflies in your stomach means a little excitement is around the corner...
BEAUTIFUL REBELS:
We stumbled upon this swoon worthy video campaign by Ryan McGinley (our first encounter with his genius work!) and decided that such loveliness needed to be shared with all our lovely LUA fans! The stars of this visual masterpiece are African butterflies which flutter to the stunning soundtrack of The Majestic Arrows'"If I had a Little Love". By far the most brilliant fashion video campaign we have seen in a while! Enjoy...
Major creativity points for nail polish superbrand OPI who launched its first short film campaign entitled Intrict of Color! The ad features four dancers wearing OPI's: Pink-ing of You, Red My Fortune Cookie, Need Sunglasses?, and No Room for the Blues. But we were more impressed by Lady in Black, the stunning thoroughbred horse who brings down the house with some of her own impressive dance moves...with manicured hooves of course!
"With a trained thoroughbred who could replicate the dancers’
moves with very little digital enhancement, we were able to capture the
unique, energetic, and creative culture that epitomizes the OPI brand,"
said OPI executive vice president and artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann.
It's no secret that we are hopelessly obsessed with (master of our universe) Louboutin's sweep-you-off-your-feet fabulousness. So we thought we'd share this tasty behind the scenes video of the making of his glamorific 20 year anniversary book....Enjoy!
P.S. LUA + Louboutin = Miles and miles of leg magnificence
The uber chic evening, which started in New York, marched its way onto the streets of Montreal last Thursday. Fashionistas came out in full fashion fabulousness to shop, drink, and dance in swank boutiques around the Old Port, followed by an after party at the PHI Center.
Check out the video of the chic and sleek fashion show on St Paul:
Who:Charles "Lil Buck" Riley - Ballet dancer/street performer extraordinaire best known for mixing classical music and street dancing (serious swag points).
What:Gap's latest film celebrating their 2012 "Idol's Redefined" collection.
Why he inspires us: With a little creativity (and some serious skill!) even the most traditional art forms can seem fresh again.
We have been watching the growing career of fashion muse/model "Zombie Boy" Rick Genest
with what can only be described as ongoing fascination.
For those of you
who haven't heard of him, here's a quick bio:
Born in: Montreal (Major points there!)
Famous for: Being tattooed like a corpse from head to toe
Has Appeared in: Lady
Gaga's "Born This Way" Video, Mugler's Autumn 2011 Men's Collection,
Elle France, Vogue Hommes Japan (Mezmerizingly amazing!), etc etc etc
etc
Most recently, Zombie Boy has become the official spokesperson of Dermablend professional makeup - the first male to ever do so.
This brilliant campaign video, "Go Beyond the Cover" is incredibly compelling and completely inspirational:
Designers. celebrities, photographers, and fashion disciples
from across the globe flocked to Vogue's (fabulicious) Fashion Festival in London on April 20th-21st. Amid
the fanfare and frenzy, event-goers had the privilege of hearing talks by Christopher
Bailey, Kate Hudson, Stella McCartney and Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana,
just to name a few.
We simply luv listening to the best of the best share their
insight and opinions on the industry. Check out these highlights!
** MUST SEE! Hilarious moments with (God of fashion) Tom Ford.
Question and Answers with designers Christopher Kane, Holly Fulton, Henry Holland, Roksanda Ilincic, Mary Katrantzou, Vogue deputy editor Emily Sheffield.
Special video introduction to the topic 'Amore' (We luv the love!) during a discussion with
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana

Check out this ultra ridiculous video created by a couple of goofy girls named Emma and Ari, that is based on a pair of $2.99 "jeggings". The ones they're joking about are far from the LUA denim leggings that we make, sell, wear and love, but the video nonetheless entertaining, and very funny to watch. Enjoy.
Here is a little video put together by Fefe's official fan sight, Bestfan.com. Fefe's performing her latest single "stuttering" the day her album dropped at the Monica Chapman CD Release Party at the Annex Live in Toronto - wearing Luv U Always PVC chunky side zip leggings (below)! This is the second performance during which she rocked out in our leggings (the first time back in September for at the opening of the Toronto International Film Festival), and hopefully not the last. Her album's called Joy and you can buy it at music stores now!
We were always pretty big fans of our country's very own Fefe Dobson, but since she started wearing our leggings, we've become obsessed. This is the new single off of her latest album that was just released at the end of November. The video will leave you curiously confused, and will have you stuttering in the shower all week (oh oh oh ehh). Throw on your LUA's and march down to HMV to pick up her album now!
Canadian pop vocalist Fefe Dobson rocked out in the brand's rubber knit leggings during the Bell Lightbox Blog Party for the Toronto Film Festival at the end of the Summer. Since then she has requested several of our other styles to wear in her daily life! Bestfan posted this fantastic video taken live at the show as well as the great images. You may purchase a pair online by visiting www.luvalwayscollections.com.
