This season's color trend is mintylicious! Mix in this cool green hue with black basics to give your wardrobe a refreshing twist.

And to wet your appetite even further, here is a recipe to our fave spring cocktail - the Greek Mohito - garnished with fresh mint o' course!  


Ingredients: 

• 4 mint sprigs 
• 2 teaspoons brown sugar  
• 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice  
• 1 1/2 ounces Metaxa (Greek blend of brandy and wine) 
• 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice 
• 1 ounce chilled club soda
• Ice

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint with the brown sugar and lime juice. Add the Metaxa, lemon juice and ice. 

Shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with the club soda.

Art History Lesson: Christian Louboutin Fall 2011 Campaign

For Christian Louboutin's fall 2009 shoe campaign, acclaimed still-life photography Peter Lippmann gracefully amalgamated 17th century Flemish art work with modern advertising, and, of course. Now, two years later, Lippmann has returned for this new series of images where timeless portraits and contemporary aesthetics are pulled together beautifully once again. Entitled "Les Promises De L'Hiver", this season's campaign is comprised of seven interpretations spotlighting items from Christian Louboutin's fall collection.

"The historic models depicted within the gallery embody the spirit of the Christian Louboutin woman; each portrait acts as a setting for key creations from the upcoming collection twinned with the artist whose individual technique and subject defines their distinct character," -Christian Louboutin, on the photo collection.

We look forward to the release of our fave shoe brand's ad campaigns every season, and have decided that this one takes the cake!

Young belgian illustrator Achraf Amiri has had his satirical images exposed to the world ever since the he was discovered via the acclaimed site Trendland.net. Self proclaimed "The hidden son of the adams family", Amiri continues to apply his unconventional direction to many different realms of pop-culture, mainly fashion. We are in love with this group of drawings, all featuring iconic shoe design (who can guess our favorite?).

Missoni X Converse Round 3

Great success is the primary reason that Missoni teamed up with Converse Chuck Taylor All Star to design a third limited collection of kicks. They are to release both of these seasonal color-ways this March exclusively at Missoni boutiques. We can't wait to get our hands on a pair and wear them with our 104 euro-jersey legging with the grey, or even the red back seam!

Christian Louboutin S/S 2011 Lookbook X Khuong Nguyen

Famed commercial photographer Khuong Nguyen teamed up (for the second season in a row) with our fave designer Christian Louboutin to create the shoe brand's Spring/Summer lookbook entitled "Summer Tour". This is a truly genius representation of the brand's most recent collection, presenting the designs as extensions of the elements- ice, water, air, and fire.
